One of our region's flagship events, the Festival de la Sorgue, is reinventing itself in 2024! Traditionally lost in a busy summer season, it was necessary to rethink this historic festival (celebrating its 47th edition this year), to revitalise it. After careful consideration, the Comités des Fêtes, the town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, and Isle sur la Sorgue Tourisme are proud to unveil the Festival's new formula for 2024!

In May, live to the rhythm of your desires!

The start of May promises to be a festive one, with the festival taking place all weekend long in our communes on 4 and 5 May. From now on, the Festival de la Sorgue will take place as a friendly, country-style, family weekend in the five communes of the Sorgue Valley: Fontaine de Vaucluse, Saumane de Vaucluse, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, Le Thor and Châteauneuf de Gadagne.

The aim of the Festival is to reconnect with "our" Sorgue, to get to know it better so that we can protect it more effectively. Dedicated to the people of the region, this festival will be a celebration of nature, enriched by music, entertaining events, nature walks and even theatre. To complete this edition, the Syndicat Mixte du Bassin des Sorgues joins as a partner, offering an attractive programme around our precious river. The Sorgue Festival marks the start of the season with a bang in May.
