The weekend of 27 and 28 April 2024 will mark the second edition of the Lire à Gordes" book fair. Set in the picturesque surroundings of one of France's most beautiful villages, the event promises a relaxed atmosphere where visitors can meet well-known authors.
Under the patronage of Jean-Christophe RufinThe fair is a celebration of encounters between authors and readers. The main square in Gordes will be transformed into a veritable literary agora, offering debates, meetings and book signings.
A rich and varied programme
This spring, the fair offers a sunny literary break. Visitors will have the opportunity to forge special links with the writers in an exceptional setting, perched at an altitude of 340 metres, with a breathtaking view over the plain and the Calavon valley.
For the youngest visitors, the fair is not forgetting children. Three authors, Adeline Ruel, Christian Heinrich and Anthony Naulleau, will be on hand to run workshops designed especially for them. Aimed at children aged 5 to 10, these workshops will take place in a fun and educational atmosphere.
Free access for all
Admission to the show and the children's workshops is free. Registration will take place on site, subject to availability. This is the perfect opportunity for families to enjoy an enriching cultural outing without financial constraints.
